Help With Replacing Models!

I tried to replace a bunch of models for Pro Skaters added in the huge update, specifically the ones found in THUG original. Not a single one of them were changed. Does anyone know why or if they can be even changed right now?

Here's a screenshot of the files, showing that I changed the skin and texture of Caballero, yet he's still the same.

Because the updater sees the files and thinks they are corrupted. You can

But that doesn't make sense, because I had other skater mods working in the Thug Pro directory, but the one I tried to replace THUG1 hawk with doesn't work.
