Someone streamed a game of KOTH and it is no longer the koth we know. It is points based.

You only accumulate points when you have the crown, the person with the most points at the end of 2 minutes wins.

WHY! Who the hell did research for this game??!

Don't you ever catch yourself styling when you have the crown? I find myself doing all kinds of tricks just to keep my special meter up. And a lot of the Thug pro people already do it. Who knows maybe we can just ignore the points? How does it work specifically?

The clock starts the second the game starts, not when someone grabs the crown. They also don't keep track of the time per person, only points from tricks while you hold the crown. There is no way to play real koth with this system.

Let's keep pushing for them to fix the King of the hill mode to resemble the mode we all know and love. If they can quickly make changes inside of the game with the last two updates where they fixed the grind's and rails as well as the multiplayer networking then maybe we can coerce them into fixing KOTH mode.
