Quick clan question

I've noticed quite some people use clan tags, and so do I. My question is, why do people wear them at the back? From other games like Mario Kart Wii I'm used to tags being at the front?

Can anyone explain? Does it even matter?

Personal preference I guess. I have put them before my name.

I've seen Mario Kart 8 clans with the names in the back so I guess that it varies.

Ah, I see. I assumed there were no official guidelines .

I just prefer to wear them in the front, since that's the way I was first introduced to the ideas of clans to begin with.

It could also help in like alphabetical sorting, but that's kinda my far-fetched thinking.

Some people incorporate their clan name into their name so it isn't exactly at the beginning or the end.
Why would you ever need to alphabetize clan names? Integrity over loyalty. Respect individual people not just the clan.
