Other Games / Minecraft Mole Gameshow (Participants needed!)
« on: June 01, 2019, 04:42:43 am »
Good day Minecrafters!

My name is Chatter, and I'm here to announce the Minecraft Gameshow I've made:

The Mole. 10 players play challenges together to earn money for a group pot. However, one player cannot be trusted, as they are the Mole. A saboteur working against the group. At the end of each episode is a test. Questions about the identity and actions of the Mole. Whoever scores worst is eliminated from the game.

The aim of the game is simple. Play challenges, unmask the Mole, claim the money.

Should you be interested in participating, helping out, or hearing more about the game, please contact me on Discord!

Questions & Tutorials / Controller issues again
« on: November 30, 2017, 02:47:40 pm »
Using a PS3/4 controller with SCP Toolkit/DS4Windows (respectively) has always worked for me for THUGPro.

And it still should, however, after configging my controller (which seems to work), the game just doesn't let my controller do anything.

Questions & Tutorials / Update?
« on: July 31, 2017, 07:10:43 am »
Will we ever see a new update for THUGPro? Or something to do in the game? I would like to get back into it but there's nothing interesting about it anymore. No new levels (except the custom ones that tbh aren't THAT exciting to me), no new gamemodes, no nothing. I miss it when THUGPro had updates every few months.

Site Suggestions / Staying logged in
« on: December 23, 2016, 04:57:42 am »
A few months ago, I selected the option to login forever, which worked fine for me and I never had any issues with it.

Until now, where everytime I visit the page, I get logged out.

Can this be fixed? Anyone else experiencing this?

I've noticed we get about 10 guests a day, but why not make an account? Why not join in on the fun, have fun posting, playing, and maybe even host or win a contest.

If you're having trouble with making an account, please contact either me, an admin (sk8ace, Krad, Morten), or another dedicated member (Skater1014, ShutMeUp!!!, etc.)

I hope to see you here ;)

Whatever / Story behind your profile pic.
« on: December 11, 2016, 11:26:41 am »
After BlazE making the topic of story behind your username, I felt inspired to make this topic. So lets discuss!

My pic: Shirtless Arvo

Arvo is a mate in my online friends group, we're just some random teens on the internet as you'd find anywhere. I don't remember why or how it happened, but once in a Skype call with about 5 of us, he took off his shirt. I took this screenshot and saved it for the lulz.

When I started making this account I just made it to ask some questions, so I didn't bother with a serious profile pic. I ended up using the forums way more though, because I like it a lot. Now this pic kinda stuck with me.

If you wanted to see a real pic of me or so, you can find one in the real life pics thread.

Time to hear some others!

General THPS(X) / THUGPRO Chaos Mod (idea/suggestions)
« on: December 01, 2016, 10:42:42 am »
Can you imagine THUGPRO getting a Chaos Mod?

A Chaos Mod is a mod where you get random/crazy effects all over the place during a game. GTA Vice City, for example, has a well made CHAOS% Mod. The Chaos Mod gives the player an extra challenge by adding various, spontaneous effects in the game.

Let's imagine this was made for THUGPRO, what ideas can we think of?
-Rainbow effect (like the cheat in THPS4)
-Moon gravity switching on and off
-Slam (when you're at the peak of a jump, your board slams down quickly instead of a normal land)
-Random ollies
-Always spinning
-Super speed!
-Sudden teleport 10 ft higher of current location
-Hidden balance meters
-Hidden trick string
-Random camera spazzing
-Infinite balance (just like the cheat)
-Really hard balance (as if you're in a big combo)
-No getting off board
-A random button stops working
-Your character model becomes maximum size
-Your character model turns invisible

In a Chaos Mod you'll get a random effect (sometimes continuous, sometimes a one-time action) every 10/30 seconds. There should be options to get more than 1 effect per time, have effects last longer/shorter, maybe a difficulty setting. (On hard you'd get more difficult effects that last longer, compared to easy) There should also be an option to choose what effects you want to happen, in case they add a rediculous one to the mod. (Although to be fair, the entire mod is rediculous as it should be)

Share thoughts!

General THPS(X) / Hidden trick combo
« on: November 16, 2016, 01:30:02 pm »
Have you guys noticed there's some hidden combo's with tricks in THUGPro?

I think we all know how we can use the face buttons to tweak grinds/lips/manuals, and I also think we all know we can double/triple tap, for example for Rocket air, Triple kickflip, Judo, 360 Inward Heelflip, etc.

Well there's more!
Did you know:

Left + flip + up = Kickflip Underflip (no longer a special trick)
Quad left/right = Quad Kick/Heelflip (also no longer specials)
Left + flip + grab = Kickflip to Method
Left + flip + right + grab = Kickflip to Indy
Left + flip + down + grab = Kickflip to Tail
Left + flip + up + grab = Kickflip to Crail (You'll probably do Kflip Uflip on accident most of the times)
LeftDown + grab + flip = Beni Fingerflip

If you know others, leave them in the comments! Hopefully some people can discover something new here.

Other Games / Town of Salem
« on: November 10, 2016, 02:50:02 pm »
Hey THPSx.
I want to talk about my (tied) favourite game! It's Town of Salem.

Town of Salem is a turn based, role playing strategy game where 15 people play in one town. Every person is assigned one of the 33 unique roles, which are seperated by alignments. The catch? You know no one's role, you will have to figure those out by investigating, teamwork, killing, asking, lying, etc.
The biggest group of people are Town members. (about 6-10 people per game).
Town members have the mutual goal of wanting to keep the town safe from the mafia and other evildoers.

The 2nd group is Mafia. (usually 3/4 per game).
The Mafia is a small group of people who want to kill everyone who aren't part of the Mafia. Mafia roles are usually much stronger than Town roles.
The Mafia have the benefit of knowing everyone from their group, it's organised crime. The Mafia always has a leader, the Godfather. He will select a target to kill for the Mafioso (if there is one). The Mafia can also chat at night.

The other ''group'' are the Neutrals (2/6 per game, can vary a lot).
Neutrals each have their own goal, usually they work alone.

Furthermore, roles are split up into alignments, which, for example are: Town Protective, Town Investigate, Random Town, Mafia Deception, Neutral Killing, Neutral Evil, etc. There will be a role list, which will give clues to what type of roles are in the town.
The game structure is as followed:
Night - At night many roles can use their ability. Some people investigate, some kill, some protect, and some roleblock.
Day (part 1): All deaths of the previous night are announced.
Day (part 2): Discussion. Living people can use the chat to speak/ask/lie, and even whisper to other players. They can share clues, ask for them, lie, discuss, plan, etc. It's all part of the game!
Day (part 3): Voting. All living people can vote on whoever they want to send to trail. A certain amount of votes is needed. If someone goes to trail, that person gets 20 seconds to speak to defend himself. After that, others will vote either guilty or innocent.
(repeat pattern until either Town, Mafia, or a Neutral win. Some neutrals can win in combination with either Town or Mafia).
There are a few more aspects about the game I didn't cover in this relatively long post, I would love to play this game with anyone, preferably with a Skype call.

If you are interested, or if you know the game, go ahead and discuss here :D!

Other Games / What other games deserve the THUGPro treatment?
« on: October 08, 2016, 07:09:46 am »
What game series do you guys think should deserve a THUGPro treatment? (making a mod based on the game with the ''best'' engine/physics, and adding levels from all over the series and such)

I think Mario Kart pro would be really cool!

Based on the fan favourite Mario Kart Wii engine, custom tracks are being made for years now, including custom remakes of older/newer tracks. Obviously Mario Kart Wii already has 16 classic levels from other games, so that's a good start too.

I know we can play custom tracks online through modding and such, and online servers are up with WiiMifi, so there is a way to play like this.
But you would need a wii for it, and everyone would have to download everything and put it on their wii's seperately.

Theres an emulator, which through some clever tricks and editing, can support WiiMifi. (I've done it) It's very laggy unfortunately, and it can cause you to get banned online.

MKPro should be a seperate game/download that all Mario Kart fans can get, with custom controller support, online stability, and maps throughout the series and maybe more.

Leave your own ideas below!
