Well, it can be done, but it's really, but REALLY hard to do.
I actually made a mod for the grinding/sliding sounds, which replaces THUG's new sounds to the old school THPS2, you should check it out!
If you want, i could help you out, do you have Discord or something?

Hm, I think that wouldn't be possible, since ThugPro is MADE for online game modes, the only offline mode currently is Free Skate, but seeing THUG 2's story mode in this mod would be really good, but, again, I don't think it is possible.

Can someone rip THP8's sounds into .wav files? (The Xbox 360/PS3 versions) Because i wanna make another sound mod for THUG2/THUGPRO
I know that's pretty hard to do since the game is not on PC (sadly), but i wanna know if that's possible or not

That's pretty hard to do, i had the same question too.
But feel free to ask to Casey Mongillo, he made a voice mod that's pretty cool.

Create-A- / Starting a sound mod project! (THUGPRO)

Hey everyone! I'm currently doing probably one of the first THUGPRO sound mods!
I'm porting THPS2 sounds to the game using the WAV to SND Encoder by sk8ace, thank you for this tool! <3
Note: When Encoding and replacing SND files the pitch is very different from the original WAV, i will do my best to correct the pitch using Audacity.
