THPS2

Hello, i love THPS2, THPS3, THUG2.

I want now play THPS2. I have image with game, but cant start the game.
On Windows 7 was no problem.

But now i install game and start game = error pop-up with "0xc0000022".
Any ideas how start THPS2 on Windows 10? How you play?

Have you tried compatibility mode,running as administrator and any other default stuff to see if it solves the problem?

Try disabling the intro movies. That error message has something to do with files being corrupt or not having correct permissions and if it's a launch issue the intro movies are probably to blame. This will tell you how, and it's got some other cool stuff to do when the game actually works.

Edit: I sound like I know what I'm doing but I'm not. Don't blame me when it doesn't work, but it's worth a try. I ended up disabling the movies I think for a similar issue, but it's been a long time since I had to get that game working on Windows 10

Go to "Windows Start" menu
Type, "Windows feature" and select "Turn Windows feature on or off"
Look for "Legacy Components" and select it.
It should show "DirectPlay"
Enable this and hit ok.
This should work and you're all set!
