I want to host a very unique Create-A-Park contest. This time instead of making a skate-park, city, or factory the contestants will be making a theme/roller-coaster park. Your park will not be judged base upon how skateable it is, rather the creativity of the rides, design of the park, and how closely the the park follows the building codes set by the rules .
What you will designYou have to design a theme park with the theme of your choice. You must build at least two coaster rides, but more are preferred. Coasters can be any kind of ride that will take you from point A to point B on a specific track either skating or grinding. Your park must also have two alternative rides, but like the coaster more than two are preferred. You will also have to make a CAS to represent your park's mascot.
Park Scoring Criteria- Have at least two coasters in your park (5)
- Have at least two alternative rides in your park. (5)
- Have a specific theme to your park. (5)
- Have a central decoration to your park. Gardens, Sculptures, Statues all work. (5)
- Is the park's paths and zones designated in a logical way to get around to the attractions quickly. Does the park have an entrance/exit? (10)
- Does the park have a mascott? (5)
- Is the coaster design creative? (Unique layout, drops, inversions, helixes, ect) (10 + up to 5 for every additional coaster up to 4 total coasters. Max 20)
- Is the alternative ride design creative? (10 + up to 5 for every additional alternative ride up to 4 total rides. Max 20)
- Does the park have decor fitting to the theme. (Only counts for places where guests are intended: Paths, Queues, and the attractions them selves). (10)
- Is the central piece use unique, and creative?, Is it placed at the entrance or center of the park? (5)
- Does the mascott fit the theme of the park? (10)
- Aside from thematic decor, is there any additional attention to detail? (Extra areas, ride booths, lines, ect)(10)
Max Score for your park is 110.
Park Penalties- Having a coaster that cuts player off at any point along the rail. Or having a bobsled fling a player off the ride without any input from the player. (-5)
- Using just the Hawaiian Statue without any additions as your center piece. (-5)
- Having a simple loop as your coaster. (-5)
- Having your coaster come within 12 feet of the guest areas weather above or behind, unless fenced off. (-5)
- Having any two or more rides bisect each other along there paths. (-5)
- Having any coaster or bobsled be required to move using the players own power, no jumping on and off the rail to gain momentum. (Chainhills, launch stations, and ladders are exempt from this)(-5)
Special Scoring- Having your coaster have the most drops. (To qualify each drop must exceed 12 feet, and be followed by a minimum of 5 unit long straight away, or turn, or hill). (+5)
- Longest Drop (To qualify the drop must be followed by a minimum of 5 unit long straight away, or turn, or hill)(+5)
- Longest Track (+5)
ScoringYour score will be the average of what the the judges state.
Judges Score is (Park Score Criteria + Special Park Properties - Park Penalties)
On the day of judging, I will make a video of your park and mascott and upload it to my youtube channel after all participating judges besides my self have sent me the scores.
What can be a coaster- All coasters should be built with the intention of having perfect rail enabled
- Any kind of connected rail loop, breaks are allowed in the station and what ever method is used to get the train its power. (Launch Station, Chain/Boost Hill, Ladder)
- You are free to decide how to get the coaster it's momentum. (Launch pads to olly, Starting at a high place, ect are all accepted, but you shouldn't have to jump on/off the rail/track to get its momentum
- Down Hill Bobsled/Salom Track
- Bobsleds are okay for players to gain momentum on there own power, but gravity or some launch system should give them a large chunk of there momentum
- Bobsleds are allowed to have jumps with breaks in the track in them, as long as the jump is relatively easy to make.
What can be an alternative ride?- A Race Track. (Must be a circuit track)
- A Free Fall Ride
- A Target jump ride, kind of similar to that in Super Monkey Ball example:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBEWTAbvp94
- A Hedge Maze
- Transportation Ride
- Basically any attraction that is a ride or has some form of interaction
The Mascot- Your Mascot will be represented as a CAS that you make
- Your Mascot should embody the general feel of your park

Request in the thread to become a judge.
If you chose to become a judge, you must use the rubric on this post for the specific non-objective quotas.
NotesThis Contest, specifically has objective quotas to try to see what people come up with, and how they choose to achieve that quota. This contest is intentionally supposed to be hard and lengthy so that way nobody can easily whip of a park in a few hours. Custom goals are not required, and unless they are specifically used to enhance an attraction they will not count towards your final score.
