Questions & Tutorials / THUGPro npt connecting to server
« on: August 25, 2021, 04:44:10 pm »
I'm having an issue connecting to online servers with THUGPro, when I attempt to connect to Internet I'm put on an endless "Connecting to OpenSpy" screen. I've asked for help twice on the discord and not gotten much so I've taken matters into my own hands as much as I can.
So far I have tried to:
- Reinstall THUGPro and THUG2
- Connect to servers with my Antivirus off fully
- Manually allow THUGPro.exe through my firewall
Interestingly, when I run THUGPro & attempt to connect to servers, under the Resource Monitor's network tab, the game is not listed meaning that it's not actually attempting to connect to the server, however the THUGPro launcher can connect to the network and does show up under the network tab (I assume for the auto updater). I suspected that the game simply not attempting to connect to the network was the issue as I never got the "Windows Firewall has blocked some features of this app" popup that I do with other online games, and I had to as I previously stated, manually add the game to my firewall.
If you know how I can go about fixing this I'm all ears.
Thanks in advance.
