Questions & Tutorials / I've replaced a secret skater with custom but not showing up ingame

I have replaced the .skin.xbx and .tex.xbx from thug 2 of a secret skater with my own model from blinder (i followed this http://thpsx.com/forums/index.php?topic=555.0) and after replacing the files the same one I was trying to replace is still in game?? I'm not sure what im doing wrong, any tips or help would be appreciated.
