questions about new update

hey, havent posted in awhile. so anyway, im pretty amped about the new update (as i sure many people are), but i have some questions about it (that arent about when it will be released)

For custom levels and soundtrack, do i have to rename the files when i put them into their respective directories, or is that step not neccessary?

regarding the update itself, how will i know the game is updated? do i have to download an updated launcher, or will it update when i launch the game?

Guess we'll find out more about the custom stuff when the update drops.
As for the update itself as far as I know it's just a normal update from the launcher once they release it which could be between anytime today and the next couple of days from what I've been hearing.

i just get the vague "thugpro.exe has stopped working" message

go to the appdata folder, there's a thugpro.txt that tells you the reason you crashed, should be at c:\users\*your username*\appdata\local\THUG Pro

Im kinda new to thugpro
I just downloaded the new update and when i tried to start it i get a black screen and then it crashes after like 4 seconds
thugpro.txt says this "Couldn't open User\manifest_levels.dat (2)"
