Lots of great fixes here! Great work guys! I hope to get back to playing soon.

I especially like that you removed the low ceiling in College! Think you can increase the height in Hangar too? Or even just remove it. I mean, granted, it has an actual modeled ceiling, but only exploits/moon gravity will you get a player that high anyway and it's not like various levels don't already have fake ceilings in various spots.

Speaking of fixing the wall on the yellow building in Moscow for wallrides, I haven't checked in a while since I can't even boot the game (issue on my end) but is the wallplant/stickerslap bug fixed on Lenin's Mausoleum? It ejects the player straight down for some reason. Here's an old pic I had for the bug report, since I think it's only this side that does it: http://i.imgur.com/hYccqf2.png

I know I'll be using Wine on some Linux distro soon, so I'm glad to see improvements there.

"Does it get any cozier?" I don't think so, pretty awesome for controller players already! Unless someday you guys get those classic PS2/Xbox(/Gamecube) button prompts displaying for maximum comfy and nostalgia.

Yeah, THAW and the PSP version of THP8 had THPS1 boxes at the end of The Mall.
I think THPS3 Levelmod has Kelly Slater Pro Surfer boxes.

Interesting! I thought there was an obscure one like that but had no idea what or from which game.

Nice find! Makes me think a "Reset Physics-Enabled Props" level option would be cool. Not sure if it'd be worth the team's time and effort, but I think at least The Mall deserves it for the end-of-level display boxes. Also an option for changing the boxes, so you could have Apocalypse boxes like in THPS1. Or whatever THAW had by default, I don't remember. I think it was THPS1 boxes. I'm going too far off topic though haha

Nice! Those are designed way better than the vanilla logo decks. And heyo, welcome to the forums!

By the way, you might want to mention that some people crash if their skaterparts.prx is dummied (and certain other pre's), so some players might not be able to use this right now. I'm hoping they can fix that in the bugfix update being worked on right now.

By the way #2, if you'd like I can hook you up with a recreation I did a while back of the official THPS2 logo if you would like, rather than that supposed "demo logo" with the lines on it. Cool CAS to mess with.

Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam actually added a cheat for this. Different model, I can't remember what of, but it's rigged differently and distorts like crazy.

I've always wondered if the skeletons could be swapped out via scripting just to run around as dogs and cats and crap. As literally useless as it would be, considering you wouldn't be able to do tricks.

In before new gamemode where half the players are animals that just terrorize skaters to prevent them from reaching a certain score/flag while players shoot out treats similar to Firefight to pacify the animals for a few seconds.

They're still very accessible now  ;)

Lol Well I meant by normal players not poking around in stuff but true enough. Is the script still there for the code input and stuff and you re-enabled it? Or did you just manually enable them? There might even still be stuff there for the weed boards from way back, but their assets were removed if I remember correctly.

No idea either lol I still don't know why the levels are different at all. THUG2R released in January or March of 2005 while THAW released in October of 2005. By those measurements, Neversoft should've been sent the completed level source files for compiling them into THAW formats. The only reasons I can come up with are:

1. They were sent early, incomplete versions either early on in THAW's development or later on due to some file mix up and it was too late to fix. Makes some sense, considering Casino in particular is a story level so they would need it kind of early on, perhaps even in an unfinished state. And what is an elevator and tiny upper room to normal players? Only those of us still playing the games in 2016 are probably obsessed enough to know these changes lol

2. Memory allocation in THAW meant they needed to cut parts of the levels because it was the quickest way to solve the issue. But I'm skeptical of this because, sure, the level textures are better in THAW, but the poly count looks the same. Going from PSP to PS2 is such a considerable leap too.

Either way, my ideas just play off my other feeling which is that THAW was super rushed and tried to do too much in too little time. And I think I've heard others thought the same.

The Beaver Head Mascot was also the same way, unlike now where it's just a normal option (for male CAS.) The way the Zure deck was unlocked was my favorite though.
Oh, yea! Sticker slapping like crazy on all these palms, good ol' alpha. :D

But well, at least they're giving us the golden board by HULK SMASHing snowmen, that's what we're gonna have to live with for now. It ain't so bad, after all, i mean, a frickin' golden board, A GOLDEN BOAARD!

Every time a new map comes out, if there are multiple copies of the same object, I try sticker slapping them to be sure the team hasn't hidden something again lol But yeah, the Golden Board is easily my preferred unlockable haha

PPSSPP got texture replacement a while back and I think also fixed the THUG2 Remix crash. I'll get a screenshot in a bit and dump the texture too.

Oh god, I actually got stuck in the middle of that Zedek/Romleon feud last year, both kids drew wayyyyy to much attention to themselves.

You're not the only one. Literally the only escape from that garbage was not playing online.
