He does use Wine. It did work for the original Thug2 as I said before, there's just no luck at all for thugpro.

[16:55:51] Joris van Dijk: Does it come up with anything? Can you right click the EXE (or the installer for that matter) and check properties? maybe administrator or compatibility modes?
[16:56:32] Arvo K: i could try, but i dont know that. it just pretends to start up the file, but it just disappears after like 5 seconds

Well, i liked GTA V, tho, in both soundtrack and game itself, just that the online community is absolute SHIT.
(Had to throw that cuz i needed to)

But yea, no idea what NSync is, mind explaining me? :T

Oh, it's the Justin Timberlake 90's band xD. Don't worry bout it. I used to play GTA V with my friends casually, but I just couldnt get into it as much as the older ones. for me, the GTA 4 physics were absolutely brilliant for example, I loved crashing cars and the swing glitch. GTA V was just a slap in the face for me somehow.

Nowadays I listen to all kinds of music.

Seems like we got something in common! ;3
The TH series kinda guided me somewhere aswell. :T
If you look at my music playlist, you'll see it is indeed a category mess, lol, from Death Grips to Paramore to Slipknot, even some of the songs on GTA V's Soulwax FM, the long list goes on! e_e
And im listening to some 80's goodies now, we definitively have that fact in common, lmao

You just guessed my love for 80's tunes, nothing beats GTA Vice City soundtrack baby, xD And now I'm just listening to NSync (dont judge me or kill me, actually you can do both). Never really got into the GTA V soundtrack, I didn't enjoy the game that much in general.

The music from the TH (and NFS) games helped me develop my music taste and broadness in general. I used to just like metal and such, but then I realized how awesome rap and punk can be, as well as other genres. Nowadays I listen to all kinds of music. Soundtrackwise my favourite game is either PS4 or UG1, with PS2/3 being close 2nd.
I love PS1,UG2,AW and P8 soundtracks as well.

You should send him your installed thugpro folder. Then he can try to run it instead of installing it.

That's an interesting solution. I'm going to try it. I'm uploading it for him so we can test when he's home

Hello community,

My friend (on Linux) recently downloaded THUG2 and THUGpro, and he managed to get THUG2 working just fine.
However when he tries to install thugpro it doesnt open the installation, nothing happend. He tried running the program with Wine.

Hopefully anyone of you could help us out so I can play with him, thanks in advance for the help.

Hey everyone! Thanks for all responses and help. For some unknown reason, my friend is able to host without others crashing or lagging. I don't know how or why, but I'm satisfied
