If this game is profitable, I would think that Tony and Activision would make a new contract for future games. Definitely won't be as long as the almost 15 year contract that is expiring. It would likely be year to year based on profit.
THPSHD was considered profitable so it certainly is not out of the question.

Hi there,
<<<< click on THUGPro tab on the left side of thpsx.com
Then at the top of the new page click on "Community Skaters" ^^^^^^
Those are all the user uploaded CAS. All you have to do is click the Download link next to the one you want to try.
Put the new CAS downloaded file into the "\thugpro\save" folder. (right click on the THUGPro program and click "Open File Location" to easily find the save folder)
Boot up thugpro and load the new skater.

Starting this Sunday the 20th, we will be running a Beta KOTH League on THUGPro. (THPS4 maps, no walk, no BP, no BS, no speed manuals)
This league is to help us get the scoring systems down before THPS5 comes out and then we will have a THPS5 League.
We need at least 6 players willing to play.
I want to get 5 "Sessions" in before next month. A Session = 1 game of KOTH in each THPS4 level. (8 games total per Session) (2 minute long games)
That is a total of 40 games each person has to try to play in a 2 week time period.
If you want to be apart of this, reply with your THUGPro username below and we will get this rolling. We need reliable people to make this work. We'll work out the time schedule that works out for everyone later. We'll explain the scoring system later as well.

From the more recent videos that have been released, it seems that no matter how steep of a grade you are skating on, you will not slow down to a dead stop.
Watch him manual up this ramp going super slow.
R2 is not just for going fast but you have to do it to move forward at all. Its the same as when you turn off autokick on the old games. Your skater would sit there until you tapped square to move.
Slam is going to be a double edged sword.. having downward control is nice but it also means that we will be missing grinds because of it. We are going to have to get used to the timing because if you hold triangle, you are going down no matter what.

We have no way of knowing at this point. I know they have been working on some videos they will be releasing soon. Hopefully one of those will be featuring all the online modes.
It's going to be interesting for sure. I wonder what the lag will be like on the server hosted rooms. I won't know what to do with myself if there is no lag lol. Be aiming way too far ahead.
To me, KOTH is KOTH and there really is no way to mess it up.. The developers are not kothers though... Honestly, I am just thrilled that they put it in to begin with. I will adjust my play style to fit the new koth if need be.

Awesome! I have been wanting to upgrade but I tend to spend way too much.
Still running my overclocked I5 2500k, GTX970, 16 gigs corsair ram, 1 Samsung 840 250gig ssd, 1 Crucial m4 128gig, 5 other random HHDs totaling about 3TB. I need a better monitor for my photography editing, that will be next.

They have been working on some new videos to release soon. We should see them in the not so distant future. Going to clarify CAP/CAS and some online stuff too. I will be posting to the main page the second they are released.
