So I love the Switch Pro Controller, one of my favorite controllers, and I wanted to play THUG PRO with it. I ran into some problems along the way, but after some research and testing I have gotten to function the best I can.
Prerequisites:
1. A Switch Pro Controller (or the Joycons if you wish)
2. BetterJoyforCemu
3. Bluetooth capability (4.0 preferably)
4. THUG PRO
Step 1: Setup BetterJoyforCemu and Pro Controller
1. Download the latest version of BetterJoyforCemu
(https://github.com/Davidobot/BetterJoy/releases/)2. Install the drivers included
(Run Drivers/ViGEmBus_Setup_1.16.116.exe)3. Connect your Pro Controller (or joycons) via Bluetooth
4. Run BetterJoyForCemu.exe
5. Your Pro Controller (or joycons) should be recognize
What BetterJoyForCemu dose is it turn your Pro Controller into a Xbox 360 Controller, so games or apps with Xinput support should work.*
Step 2: Setup mapping in Thug Pro
1. Open the Thug Pro Launcher
2. Click on the Gamepad Binding tab
3. Select the "Controller (Xbox 360 for Windows)" device
4. Map the Controller to your liking
5. Click "Play THUG PRO"
A quick tip: Use Bluetooth over a USB connection, It might have a strange lag (buy a Bluetooth adapter or wait for a fix if you must)
