General THPS(X) / ps5 controller issues on thugpro

So today i decided to make the switch from xbox to ps5 controller for thugpro since i heard the response times are better and you can do a lot with it like deadzone stuff or whatever (if anyone knows cool stuff you can do lmk lol) but for some reason mine will be supppper lagggy with the inputs and sometimes not even read them and it just feels super clunky and slow. any ideas?

Ive noticed some people are able to do the thug1 or superboostplant mid combo without getting off board but the onlyyy way i can do the thug1 boostplant/superboostplant is right after i get on my board. just wondering if there is anything behind that
