Other Games / Re: I'm working on making a skateboarding game like the tony hawk games
« on: June 18, 2017, 02:47:11 pm »Sorry, that rambling stemmed from thinking how cool it would be to have something like this to import levels in, a truly next-gen tony hawk game. Even without that, I would love to see this come out, especially if it feels authentic to the neversoft games (at least closer than Robomodo ever got.) But I truly don't expect this will ever come out, so if nothing else happens having a game with no levels to import levels into made sense in my very tired brain that was for some idiotic reason up at 2AM while typing that drivel. That being said, the fact you're doing this at all is AMAZING, and I am so proud of you for even trying. Still, weather finished by yourself or with help, it'd be awesome if after it was made it would allow imported levels at some point. On a slightly unrelated note, to make sure that your physics feel right, maybe you could import a level from thug pro or thpsHD so you have a real tony hawk level to test the physics on? IDK if that even would work, it's more complicated than that I'm sure, but I wonder if that would help in getting it to feel right. What era are you trying to emulate anyway? The thug physics? The pro skater physics? The next-gen Proving Ground physics? I'm excited for anything you do here, man. KEEP IT UP!Its okay, I understand, I ramble on alot as well, but thank you for one, and two, for physics, i want to replicate at least the pro skater games, so id say ethier pro skater 3 or pro skater 4, asI want it to be a pro skater game, and tbh yes getting off your board is cool, but its not what made the games as good as they were back then
also as a p.s, I was actually thinking of making one of my levels i designed into a custom level for on thug pro, so people know i actually am trying to do this, not just saying this for attetion, plus then i could get feedback on my level desgins
