Title: THPS3 Luigi's Mansion (from Mario Kart 7)
Post by: Skater1014 on December 09, 2016, 11:17:09 pm
I converted the Luigi's Mansion track from Mario Kart 7 to THPS3 PC.
Credit to EvilAsh123 (http://thpsx.com/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=127) for providing the model.

But wtf with the wallie on the floor? o_o'

The tool that I use assigns collision types to the textures.

Since that floor texture was in the same file as the textures for the walls outside, I could either:
1. Have the floor (for that section only) be wallrideable with most of the walls outside being wallrideable.
2. Make the floor have normal collision but you wouldn't be able to wallride most of the stuff outside.

I obviously chose #1.

wait. i know how to fix it. if i re open the model back up in sketchup, duplicate the texture, and re apply it on the walls, and slightly recolor it, then they will be saved as two different texture files. then the ground will be normal in those areas
Title: Floorie... lol, kinda catchy, actually!

Oh, well, in that case, #1 was the best possible choice! :P
