Title: No zoom key binding for rail tool in THUG Pro?
Post by: Sofles_Aether on December 09, 2016, 07:01:16 pm
My zoom keys aren't bound for the rail tool in CAP for some reason. There doesn't seem to be anyway to assign them either. The legend at the bottom of the screen says Zoom = *blank*/*blank*

I there anyway to fix this? It makes using the rail tool really difficult. Especially to be precise with it.

Does this happen only in gamepad?

Not sure exactly what you mean. Zoom has never really worked with gamepad. Left spintab works as zoom out but nothing zooms in. It used to be KP3 for me, but since one of the recent updates it doesn't have a binding anymore.

I was just curious if it happened in only gamepad as im a keyboard user myself.

It never worked for me either, I just used the buttons on my KB to zoom in/out.

For me it's like this: (PS3 controller)

Zoom in/out - L/R3 (click in stick) (also used for caveman)
Lower/raise - L/R1 (shoulder bumpers) (also used for revert/spine/spin)
L/R2, triggers, unassigned.

I think triggers might still have the issue of being treated as the same buttons (if you hit left trigger, it acts as if you are hitting right trigger as well) I am not sure about this though.

I don't think I can help you with this, but I wish you best of luck!

There are no keys assigned to zoom, that's the issue. I've always used KP3 for zoom in but now it doesn't work. Nothing works because zoom literally doesn't have any key binding.

EDIT: Solved the issue. Apparently walk and alt-walk double as the zoom keys. For some reason mine weren't assigned on keyboard even tho it's assigned on gamepad.

Thanks Chatter for helping me infer this from your post.
