Title: help with rigging a model for thug pro
Post by: MCMORCERF on March 30, 2022, 06:25:22 pm
im getting desperate to rig this character for thug pro, i only have an xps/fbx model of them, i tried using it but i dont think its compatible with the scene to thug 2 (correct me if im wrong) basically i just need someone with a working XNA lara model viewer to convert this file to .obj since i CANNOT get xnalara to work for me whatsoever

heres the download link to the model file

did you try just import the FBX into blender? blender should have native support for that model type. then when you import it, you could repose the model to fit the thug2 skeleton (if it comes with an armature) and then export as OBJ. then open a weight transfer project file and do the rigging process with your new OBJ model.

When i import the fbx file, basically the model is all messed up and doesnt have its textures/colors. idk how to fix that

if you're on 2.79b, try viewing the model in material mode and enabling environmental lighting.
