Title: Compiled sources.zip?
Post by: BlueChaoz on July 31, 2016, 06:36:59 pm
Does anybody know how to compile to programs in the sources.zip folder? I tried using VS2015 but I get a error during building. I would like to decompile the scripts and edit textures but I cannot without the tools.

If by "edit textures" you mean like, replacing a board or stuff, a workaround would be Texmod.
It's easy to use if you know what you're doing.

(I can't help with the scripts part since i don't touch the scripts at all)

The compiler should be telling you exactly what the issue is.

If you interested in ripping textures. 3D ripper DX works very nice, if you convert the files in PNG.

Most (if not all) of the texture tools already have compiled versions, such as IMG2TGA and TGA2IMG. The ones that have version numbers at the end are compiled; the ones with "src" on the end aren't.
