Hey community!

I would like to hear what TH games you all own, and which is your favourite. Feel free to add personal stories, maybe you got your first TH game as a christmas gift and it changed your life, tell us about it!

I own:
THPS2 (n64) First TH I ever played, usually played it with my older brother when I was really young, like 10-12 years ago, it was one of my favourite games and I loved skateboarding ever since (although I suck at IRL skateboarding, I can only ollie and shuv)

Thps3,4,ug1,ug2,AW (GC) I first got a Gamecube for Mario Kart, (this was 2010/11ish) along with TH it's my favourite game series, and it was really cool for me, I managed to pick up all 5 TH games released for it for like 4 euro each, and I enjoyed every single one of them a lot. I played them in order from old to newer, so I experienced new mechanics everytime.

THP8 (PS2). This one is kinda special for me. I had a PS2 that I didn't play much, but I did want a TH game for it, I always heard the newer ones weren't as good, and this is my experience with that.
I did actually enjoy THP8 a lot, but I defenitely saw why it wasn't as good as previous titles and I never got THPG.

My favourite game has to be UG1. It was such a breaktrough for the series, so many new things were introduced and it defenitely felt more personal. Story was good, customization was amazing (thats what I loved most) and the walking mechanics were interesting as well.

Now lets hear it from you guys!

Are we only naming THPS games we have? If so here goes:

TH: American Wasteland (xbox 360, PC, ps2)
TH: Underground
TH: Underground 2
TH: Pro Skater 4

I used to own all of them but I tend to sell games when I'm done with them.

The games I own "legit" copies of:
THPS1 (PS1)
THPS4 (PS2)
THUG1 (GCN)
THUG2 (GCN)
THAW (Xbox)

The games I used to own, but lost:
DESA (PS2)

We started out as only having THPS1, THUG2, and DESA. When we were kids, I would often watch my brother play them, and occasionally, I would join in and try (emphasis on "try") to play with him. I was terrible. But I was always fascinated by skateboarding, from everything I saw in the games, on the TV, and in the movies. THUG2 and DESA were the ones we played most; I even remember my bro making a clubhouse level in THUG2 for him and his friends to play around in (sadly, he took off with the memory card that had it, so I can't show any pictures or videos of the clubhouse in question)

Many years later, I ended up taking the GameCube and all of its games into my bedroom. (To this very day, I still treat it as if it were my child) A couple years ago, I bought myself THUG1 and THPS4, while receiving THAW through a game lot, and then I decided to finally start THUG1, THUG2, and THAW on my own. I fell in love with the stories of THUG1 and THAW, and loved just playing the games in general, and trying to find every single gap, tape, easter egg, and unlockable I could.

My favorite of the series? Definitely THUG1. While it may not have a vast amount of features like THUG2 does, I still think THUG1 is the high point of the series, not just because its engine feels better (aside from the on-foot physics), but also because it's the most accurate, down-to-earth depiction of the ups and downs that skaters go through when trying to start a career.

Legally owned THPS games:
THPS3 (GC, PS1) (I also used to legally have THPS3 on PC but I no longer have the disc...)
THPS4 (GC)
DESA (GC)
THUG1 (GC)
THUG2 (GC, PSP) (I had to rip my PSP copy of THUG2 to my Memory Stick because the UMD's literally destroyed.)
THAW (GC, GBA)
THDJ (GBA)
THP8 (PSP)
THPG (Wii)
THPSHD (PC)
(As a bonus, I also have that "Evolution Skateboarding" game on GC.)

I've been playing Tony Hawk since I was like, 3-4 years old believe it or not.
Tony Hawk, Dave Mirra, & Super Mario Sunshine were the games that I pretty much grew up with.

Well, shit. I have to go back for this one.

I've owned every game in the series from THPS4 onward (Except for THPS5, because I play on PC nowadays). And yes, even the dogshit ones with the physical board.

THUG1 was probably my favourite, I remember playing the shit out of it. I think I could beat it in like 3 hours. Also, fuck Eric Sparrow in his stupid fucking face. I WON TAMPA, EAT A DICK.

Downhill Jam was pretty fun too.

My entire childhood was THUG1, MAME on my Windows XP, and cherry coke, all complimented with the worst internet imaginable.

My CAS looks like a Fisher Price toy.
Kaden is not a good name.
These are all opinions.

How were ride/shred actually? I thought it was an interesting concept at first when they were released, but I never got to play them. I imagine they're shitty and unresponsive though.
