Session / Re: I got Skater XL

From what I've played of both Session sucks, the animations/physics are stale af and too capped in. I've been playing Skater XL since the first beta build (Steam Early Access) and even the first beta build had better physics than Session. Skater XL's mod community is way better too, I'll admit though Skater XL is trash on console or vanilla on PC. The game is great when you have it modded and it's primary mods that make it better in fact everything you complained about can be fixed with mods...

1: Graphics -  With Reshade & XL Graphics Mod combined you can actually make the graphics look better than Session and more atmospheric...





Note: This isn't even the best graphics config, it's just what my computer can handle (Ultra Settings with Reshade & XL Graphics) but you can make it look even better if you have a better system.

2: Customization - Due the mod community there are thousands of customization options personally I have exactly 2110 customization options which include everything from shirts, pants, hats, decks, trucks, wheels, etc.  from pretty much every Skate Brand in the book - https://skaterxl.mod.io/?filter=t&tag%5B%5D=Gear

There's a mod to be able to change the shape and size of your deck & wheels. - https://skaterxl.mod.io/board-utilities

3: Gameplay Elements - Mod wise you can play Multiplayer, play games of Skate Dice etc - https://skaterxl.mod.io/xl-multiplayer , https://skaterxl.mod.io/skate-dice





5: Player Model - looking at both Skater XL's player model is actually more superior,  it's just the default skins that make it look less superior. I personally made a Skin Pack that fixes this - https://skaterxl.mod.io/xxlskinpack

It's also worth mentioning the custom maps for Skater XL are 1000x better, and now you don't have to model them from the ground up and put in all the grind splines. You can download blank/empty maps & using the Map Editor mod you can create your own in game plus there are tons of options to use and more and more dlc's for the Map Editor are being made to give you more options. I've been playing this for days on my Soft Modded Nintendo Switch using the PPSSPP Emulator. I honestly haven't found any bugs emulation wise, the JoyCons work tremendously great with it. It's truly a masterpiece and I'm sure it will get even better over time. Personally I love the animations Project 8 had so seeing them in levels from different TH Games is amazing, I'm more likely to play this than THUG Pro just for that reason.



I do have a few questions though...

#1: How soon do you think until we see THUG1 levels & is there a possibility of us seeing THPG Levels like Baltimore & Washington DC that Larxian converted?

#2: Will there be more customization items added from THAW like shirts, pants, hats, accessories etc. since the player models are basically the same for them to be compatible with?

#3: Do you take requests for in game options/content as long as they aren't outlandish or near impossible?

& #4: Is there a way of replacing the in game textures with HD Textures, and if so and that was something you'd be interested in doing would you be opposed to adding someone to the project/team for that purpose when it comes to texture editing & enhancement?
   
     -  I'm great with texture editing & enhancements and would be thrilled to be part of the project, I'm on social
     security disability due to a terminal illness, I'm always home & have no life other than what I do online and on my
     computer so I'd have an unlimited amount of time to put into the project.

Yes, even with the Unlimited memory option in THUGPro, there really still is a limit. Each CAP will crash after a certain amount of pieces have been used. I can attest to this first hand, for the most recent CAP I have been working on is unplayable due to me using too many pieces. I don't think there is a hard or known exact number of pieces. But it's definitely a thing.

What I have been doing is deleting pieces from my CAP until it's playable again and then trying to determine what is the culprit for causing it to crash. My CAP won't work without completely redoing it based on design and layout, so I have scrapped the one I was working on and have gone back to the drawing board.

Yeah I always like trying to make realistic city's with everything a real city would have, roads, sidewalks, parking lots, bridges, skyscrapers, parks etc. and when trying to do that I can't without the game crashing because in order to do that I need to use way too many cap pieces for the game to handle. I hope at some point they come out with a THUG Pro update that truly makes the unlimited cap option unlimited, I think it would really make cap contests a lot more interesting.

So I've been having a problem with my game crashing when I try to save or load created parks after using a certain amount of cap pieces. Does anyone else have this issue?

Create-A- / Custom THUG Pro Desktop Icon

So I've always been into Windows desktop customization like Visual Styles, Icons, Desktop Configurations etc.
so I ended up creating a custom icon for THUG Pro to replace the original.

General THPS(X) / ST0N3D_FR33SK8 | A THUG Pro Clan

So I figured I'd make a clan for stoners who are die hard tony hawk fans, it's meant to be a chill clan where
we can freeskate & talk about our stoner life styles, strains, grow setups, preferred ways to get stoned etc.

Anyone can Join as long as you're a stoner, your skill level doesn't matter all that matters is chillin with
stoners alike and having a good time. Player names must have "SFS |" at the end of their name once
you've joined (for an example I go by D3LTANiN3 so since I'm part of the clan it would be D3LTANiN3 | SFS)

I've set up a Facebook page for the Clan where we can communicate better & share photos of our screenshots,
mods, bud, glass pieces, plants etc.

If you're trying to install it into THUGPro, then it won't work. I never made it compatible with the new soundtrack method. I was actually thinking about re-releasing this as a THUGPro soundtrack with a somewhat revised list of songs.

You definitely should re-release it. Personally I think it was a great playlist & the best one you made, it had some of the best songs from all the best tony hawk games without having to switch playlists just to get certain songs from certain soundtracks.

So I'm trying to use the Best of THPS Soundtrack by ThAEm (http://thmods.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=659&sid=fe2f8914012adada51f5c2047896ec77) but no matter what I can't get it to work, I've been able to get it to work in the past but can't now. How do I go about getting it to work?

A few ideas I had for in game mods...

Ash Williams (Deploy and Destroy: Ash VS Evil Dead Model)


Tony Hawk's Underground CAS Model, because I think we can all agree the CAS Model from UG looked more realistic.


Skate 3 Deck Model, because the rest of the decks in THUG Pro don't have concave or enough shape to them.
