Also, here's some old screenshots of Mario Kart 8 tracks in THPS3:

Damn, that last screenshot is pretty cool. Yoshi Valley looks great ported into THPS3.

I agree! The other screenies are also worth a mention! :p
-
What's also crazy is how much the game lagged on these maps.
Yoshi Valley actually isn't TOO bad lag-wise.
I also imported Toad Harbor and that one doesn't have TOO much lag either.
Believe it or not, the game literally crashed RIGHT AFTER I took the Bowser's Castle screenshot from lagging so much on that map.
I have to open the KSK Menu and enable fog otherwise the game will crash on that map.
Never play on maps from a 2014 Wii U game with extremely high polys on an old 2001 game lol. ;D

Lol yeah I could imagine that the framerate would get destroyed from the size/detail of some of those maps.

jersey in thps3? O.o mind blown. did you ever get it to fully port with nodes and textures?
-
(Aghh, I deleted my previous post in this thread by mistake... >:()
Anyway...
Sorry for the bump, but I just uploaded a vid of the New Jersey shown in the screenshots of this thread.
-
Lol, untextured new jersey looks like something that would be in clustertruck for me lol

(This image was probably in the post that I deleted by mistake...)
I made 2 versions of NJ actually.
This is the 3D Ripper DX version of it. (Only has the train station & my THUG1 skater lol.)

I also have this very old private (now unlisted) video of it (Ew, Hypercam 2... & yes, the level shown in the beginning of the video is Bob-Omb Battlefield from Super Mario 64...):
