Special tricks topic!

I have noticed that some special tricks behave different than others.
For example, the Hot Rod special manual gives you extra speed.

Is this considered cheaty/cheap? Which special tricks are the ''best''?

Talk about your special tricks here, which ones you use and which ones you like best.
I really like Indy 900 because it gives an incredible amount of points, I also like Semi flip because it has a short animation.

Here's a list (made by AxlRocks) of special tricks in THPS games.

360 Ghetto bird has seriously short animation for 3500 points (regular stance).. in fact you can perform it every time you boneless off the ground. If you are really quick you can do without boneless. Too bad you can't spin while you perform the trick.
Same goes for Gazelle underflip but I think it has an anim that is a fraction of a second longer than 360 Ghetto bird.

Double Fistin' animation seem to be shorter than a Kickflip, if not as short (as long as you don't hold it). Yeah, that makes it a very good trick to quickly get lots of points. You can do two of those in one simple ollie if you're quick enough.

Bam Bend Air is useful what I spin around and holding frontflip to power-up the points it not only Double Fistin' but sure come in handy
