From what I gather, this was delivered as a Windows Update with other bug fixes etc and wasn't considered a driver update. The update was KB3140743. For right now, until Microsoft actually fixes controllers instead of breaking something else, I'd try uninstalling that.

Let me know if it works. I'm sure this will plague at least a few other people in the community so the sooner it's figured out the better.

EDIT: I can confirm that this works. Everything's working now after uninstalling the update. Thanks. :)

Windows 10 automatically updated my Xinput driver without letting me know (even though I have automatic driver updates off) >:( and now I can't use my Xbox One controller (which is the only controller that I have that works w/ a PC) with THUGPRO because I used the triggers with Xpadder and now the keyboard disables itself in THUGPRO if I have a controller plugged in. I also can't rollback the driver...

EDIT: This problem was fixed by uninstalling updates KB3140743 & KB3140768.

No, I just made a new folder for the new level (the xbx files that came out of the prx) and copied the .prx to the THUG2 pre folder.
Then I hex edited the levels.qb to replace any text that has "ph" with "nj".

I find it crazy that the devs forgot to remove it.
We all have the Mall level but it's locked away from the game and if we try to replace it, the game crashes.
I even tried Hex Editing the levels.qb file for THUG2 to add Mall but it still crashes in THUG2...

I Hex Edited the Levels.qb file for THUG2 to add New Jersey to replace Philly and it worked. (Online only & no grind sounds.):

I also copied the .prx files to the THUG2 "pre" folder. Then, I hex edited the THUG2 "levels.qb" file to replace Philly with New Jersey. (I made it point to New Jersey's files.)
I took those screenshots in LAN play and it crashes in Freeskate, Classic Mode, etc.
I tried this same method with Mall to see if the crash issue was just with THUGPRO but it still crashed in THUG2.

I used the program above.
To use it, just drag the .prx file into the program and it should extract the folders to the main hard drive directory.

where i find the hex editor? oh, did test out 2 player mode?
oh, how does the hex editor work anyways, i never done it before.
I don't have a 2 player mode and for a hex editing program, I use HxD.

If I remember correctly (I chatted with one of the devs about it back when Chicago Skatepark was added) The Mall wasn't added due to technical issues related to the size of the level. Basically, the level is so big, it caused glitches when played online. I think there are still some leftover files for The Mall in the THUG Pro files.
I don't know if this is a different level but I see 3 files in the THUGPRO "pre" folder that kinda look like they could be for the Mall level:

ma_scripts.prx
macol.prx
mascn.prx


EDIT: I was looking in these files with a Hex Editor. They do appear to be from the Mall level.

can you play the mall level early?
Sadly, no...
I tried replacing it with Warehouse and the game crashed after I selected Warehouse.

I think they might add the THPS1, THPS2, & THAW levels all at once like they did with THPS3 & THPS4.
This thread isn't a bad idea if there's ever an update where they add 1 or 2 levels in it.

Do you think you could convert this battle stage from Mario Kart Wii to work in THPS3?  It's got jumps and the whole outside edge is a quarter pipe.
Maybe some park editor pieces could be dropped into it to fill some of the empty space.



I could say without even converting it that the ramp scripts would definitely work in THPS3.
Still, rails wouldn't work though...
If they have that map on The Models Resource (or any other place to download models) then I can definitely do it.

Would it be possible to convert a level to thps3 then from thps3 to thugpro? That would gives the devs something to build off of when all the levels are converted.
I'm pretty sure that it would be possible to do.
However, they would probably need to make rail scripts from scratch since there's no rail scripts on imported models.
