As per the last poll, please indicate why you chose the level you did.

That hamburger button animates into an X on tap. I'm wondering if your browser doesn't support CSS3 animations. If, when the menu is open, you tap the hamburger button again does it close the menu?

Can you take one more screen ShutMeUp after refreshing everything? Your links were showing up as purple and shouldn't be. I think I fixed that...

No header/links, even when i checked this site on PC. :l
We're working on a fix for this. The forum software has specific ways it has to be embedded on the site. We think we have a fix in-mind but need to implement and test first. I'm going to try working on it tonight.

I think it looks great. I kinda think the forums and main page should share a similar color scheme though to be honest. I still think the main page looks great
The reason we went with the bluish/turquoise on the forums is the yellow that we're using on the site was VERY strong as the primary color on the forums. The bluish color is a complimentary color to the yellow, and you'll see we used it in other places besides just the forum. In the Community Uploads section and the THUGPro Live Stats we use the blue. But it would probably be good to bring in some of the yellow to the forums as well to tie it in stronger to the rest of the site. Good feedback- thanks! The focus right now is to get the bugs worked out from everyone's reports, and then add some functionality and make some additional tweaks.

Looks real good! But i think the THUGPro section needs a fix in the order. It's messed up,at least for my Windows XP.Look
SK8.William: What browser are you using? If you're on Windows XP and using Internet Explorer, then I believe you would only have IE8 which this site wouldn't support as it uses certain elements needing CSS3 and HTML5. I'd recommend, as sk8ace did, that you download and use Chrome or Firefox. If, when using one of those browsers, the issues still persists, please let us know and we can investigate further.

There was a group of us who built CAPs frequently back during the series "hey-day" that toyed with all kinds of "tricks" to conserve memory. I like the theory in the spoiler you posted ShutMeUp. What has always baffled me is why, when raising and lowering ground: if I raise or lower the ground, if I immediately revert that ground back to the default level, I gain no memory back. Well that's one thing, but I digress. We would typically utilize pre-made objects such as buildings to create pseudo walls to help conserve memory. I never did a full analysis of what/which pieces used how much memory, but man a comprehensive tutorial on this would be cool. I've forgotten, by now, more than I remember on space saving tips...seems like using quarter-pipes instead of pool pieces save memory and then use the rail tool to make a grindable lip above the q-pipe.

I think the master of tricking the editor back in the day, better than almost anyone I ran into, was EvilGod. He had that crap dialed. Hitstun was pretty good too- he loved the stack and merge glitch, and created some pretty cool stuff with that technique.

At any rate- back on topic: pre-made templates are a cool concept. THPS5's editor used this notion. Because the THPS5 editor was so glitchy I didn't get to play with it enough, but I did like the template idea. I could see utilizing these that you have come up with for CAP Building contest and the like. Good stuff!

Interesting...I guess Chatter was right in the other thread...same few people are the only ones who post regularly on these boards. 6 total votes on this poll but viewed 74 times...plenty of lurkers on here it looks like, but not many taking the time to actually post anything. :(

Community Contests / Re: Theme Park Contest [Open]
« on: January 26, 2017, 11:07:27 am »
Does anyone have any tips for me? Also, it seems like when I redirect people here and they DO make an account, they'll be on for an hour, make 2 posts, just to be never seen again. I feel like the top 10 posters will never change.
In my humble opinion, this contest is a bit complicated with too many rules associated with it. When I first saw the post I was interested, but then after I read all of the criteria for it, I decided I didn't want to participate. Please don't get me wrong, a great job was done on it being very detailed and it is explained what is involved very well, there are just so many rules for it- it makes it a challenge to want to participate.

At this point in this series, it is what it is for participation. The series is extrememly old now, and many people will jump on for a bit for their nostalgia fix, and then move along. Without a new update to THUGPro, or a proper new title in the series, it's tough to get people to hang around for very long.

There are some behind-the-scenes things in the works with thpsx.com right now, and we're tossing around some ideas to keep things fresh and interesting, as well as try and keep people interested, involved, and playing the games. Stay tuned for all of that...

I give SoaringWings props for trying to do something on a contest here. My encouragement would be, if something like this is done again, keep it a bit more simple. It should be approachable and something that people could do in a couple/few hours. 100% my opinion, and please SoaringWings don't take offense to the feedback. I, personally, have run multiple contest/tournaments/events/etc over the course of this series, so just trying to pass along some of the things I've learned over time.

Interesting, I've never counted. So are there 20 or 25 total tags available in Warehouse? More? Can anyone confirm?
